A notice has been sent by PEMRA on airing of objectionable content in drama serial ‘Dil Na Umeed To Nahi’ to which Yumna Zaidi’s reaction has come to light.
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has sent a notice to actress Yumna Zaidi’s drama ‘Dil Na Umeed To Nahi’, saying that the drama did not present a true picture of society. “Make it according to ethics.”
On the other hand, in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), actress Yumna Zaidi said that she was not happy with the notice of PEMRA, although her projects have received notices before, but the notice on this drama bothered me because it Drama has a special status for me and I watch every episode of it while people on social media are mostly talking against PEMRA’s notice.
In response to a question, the actress said, “I don’t think I should just work in showbiz, but every project of mine should have a purpose. Otherwise, dramas are made, but I choose the script wisely.”
