Fans of Shah Rukh Khan were left amazed and captivated by a video shared on Instagram featuring the actor’s doppelgänger named Suraj Kumar.
The lookalike, Suraj Kumar, known as Chhota Shahrukh on Instagram, garnered attention for his striking resemblance to the actor.
In the video, Suraj, accompanied by his family during an outing in Delhi, sported a similar hairstyle, baggy T-shirt, and black sunglasses, further fueling the comparison. Social media users expressed their disbelief, with some mistaking him for the real Shah Rukh Khan in an old video.
Several comments praised his resemblance to the actor, reminiscing about Shah Rukh’s appearance in the 90s when he started his film career.
Some even encouraged Suraj to pursue a career in films, eagerly advocating for him to be given a chance. Suraj, an artiste by self-proclamation, mentions in his Instagram bio that he was born in Kolkata and resides in Jharkhand. He welcomes invitations for various events and functions, as indicated by his bio.
Suraj enjoys his own fan following on Instagram, with approximately 160 thousand followers. His Instagram feed showcases a range of videos and photos, including street shows, his impersonation of Shah Rukh Khan, and reciting famous dialogues from movies like Baazigar (1993).
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, hailing from Delhi and initially making his mark in television with series like Fauji in the late 1980s, entered the film industry with Deewana in 1992.
His latest appearance was in Pathaan (2023). His upcoming projects include Atlee’s action film Jawan, set for a worldwide release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in September.
Nayanthara will also feature in the film, alongside Sunil Grover, Priyamani, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles.
Additionally, Shah Rukh has Dunki in the pipeline, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. This collaboration marks their first project together and also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Dunki is scheduled for release in December.
