Punjab Assembly MPA, Hina Pervez Butt, presented a resolution in the provincial legislature expressing concern over shortage of flour in the province.
In a resolution signed by her, it reads: “The shortage of flour has led to increase in its price and it is being sold in black. A 20-kg sack of flour is available for Rs 1000, while 1-KG sack is being sold for Rs 75-80. This House demands the government of Punjab to ensure its price list is implemented in letter and spirit.”
Hina Butt, while sharing copy of the resolution on Twitter, wrote: “A resolution expressing concern over severe shortage of flour in Lahore was submitted to the Punjab Assembly. The government engaged in political revenge has no idea whether the poor man is getting flour or not.”
