PIA decides to buy eight new planes

The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has decided to add eight new planes to its fleet in a move to widen its coverage for travelers.

CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik says we have decided to buy 8 new aircraft for the national airline PIA, all aircraft will be taken on a 6-year dry lease.

According to reports, PIA has invited offers at the national and international levels for the purchase of 170-seater aircraft. The reports said that all the aircrafts will be handed over to PIA between January and December 2021.
