Meet Nadia Waris – a 12-year-old school-going corona warrior in Quetta

A 12-year-old girl, Nadia Waris, has become a symbol of inspiration for school-going children in Quetta who makes sure every child in the school take precautionary measures in the face of Covid-19 pandemic.

The motivated teenager has given a strong message in a short video produced by Unicef for spreading awareness about safety measures for children who just resumed their schools after covid-19 lockdown.

Nadia hailing from Quetta, narrates how the life has changed after the coronavirus pandemic and an abrupt closure of school for months due to the disease.

In the video, the little girl sheds light on importance of wearing masks, maintaining social distance and use of hand sanitizers.
