Malaysia’s former prime minister Mahathir Mohamed has appreciated launching of a food app in the country, saying it will be beneficial for people.
“I have been approached by the young people of Langkawi who are working on TapawFood; one apps to order and send food like Grabfood and Foodpanda. I am proud to know that these apps were developed by Langkawi’s own son – Zabel Iqbal bin Zainon, a 26-year-old young man,” he wrote in his Twitter post.
“Congratulations because this service is able to help small traders continue to do business even from home. In addition there will also be job opportunities. I hope these apps can expand throughout the Peninsula,” he concluded.
