Pakistani actress Sarah Khan says that if the perpetrators of the motorway incident were not punished severely, then it is a pity that I cannot live in this country.
Actresses Mahira Khan, Sarah Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Ayesha Omar, Yasir Hussain, Ejaz Aslam, Sarwat Gilani, Wajahat Rauf and many other celebrities on Monday evening at the Karachi Press Club protested sexual harassment of women and children across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, actress Sarah Khan said, “I always have two guards with me, but I want us to live in a society where women do not need all this.”
He said that even women and children are not safe in the country at this time, adding Imran Khan should dole out severe punishments for the culprits after the motorway incident.
“Instead of teaching women here, men should be taught how to respect women,” she said.
In her video message, Sara Khan said that the purpose of recording our protest here is to punish the culprits severely, if not, then I have to say with regret that I no longer live in this country.’
