Dubai artificial moon

Dubai planning to ‘build’ its own artificial moon

Dubai plans to build a replica of the moon on top of a 30-meter high skyscraper, costing over £4 billion.

Canadian entrepreneur Michael Henderson aims to execute the project, which includes a mega-resort with a 4,000 room hotel, a 10,000 capacity arena, nightclub, and wellness center.

The ambitious endeavor, called “Moon,” is expected to have a significant impact on Dubai’s economy, particularly in tourism.

Henderson and co-founder Sandra G Matthews have expressed their intention to target various sectors such as transportation, real estate, infrastructure, financial services, aviation, energy, and more.

Despite Dubai’s history of remarkable achievements like the Burj al Arab, the world’s tallest building, and the largest fountain (now closed), the city continues to attract tourists and offers long-term residency through the Golden Visa program.
