A former Kentucky middle school substitute teacher, named Alexandria Allen, is accused of raping one of her students, and the case was taken to court by parents of the student.
Alexandria Allen, 25, was arrested and charged with third-degree rape, reported Local12.
The victim, a former eighth-grade student of Allen’s, was being privately tutored by her. He apparently told police that the two had sex in the past.
The nature of Allen’s relationship with the student was discovered when the victim’s mom found nude photos of Allen on her son’s phone.
“I was disgusted because you’re supposed to be helping him, and she wasn’t helping him at all,” said the victim’s mother.
According to the arrest warrant, the rapes happened from March to October of 2020 in multiple locations, including hotels.
Allen’s attorney pled not guilty on her behalf during court. The judge reduced her bond to $2,500 given she has no prior criminal record and ordered no contact with the victim.
Allen was fired from her job and is prohibited from working in her previous school district again.
She is due back in court on February 2.
