Member National Assembly of Pakistan, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, was reprimanded by social media users after he tweeted a picture of female lawmaker of opposition with a repugnant caption.
Aamir Liaquat shared a picture of PML-N legislator Uzma Bukhari who was standing atop of container while another party worker stood very close to her. Aamir wrote with the picture: “The first result of the Gujranwala jalsa is out…”
A number of users slammed the MNA of the ruling government PTI and asked him to delete the tweet as it was in a complete bad taste.
One user commented: “Very very sad to see this filth coming from a person who brands himself as a religious scholar.”
Another user took exception to the tweet and said: “Difference of opinion or political rivalry is okay. But basics that define well groomed, mannered and batter human are consistent. A person who can’t respect women n don’t feel shame in expressing his filth is worst irrespective of position he holds.”
The tweet remained on the profile of Aamir Liaquat Hussain until filing of this story on Saturday noon (Oct 17). And the lawmaker also retweeted it on his profile to bring it to the top of his page.
